Career Basics

Naji Chami joined the Orange office of Mullen & Filippi as an Associate Attorney in 2022 and has practiced workers’ compensation defense since 2015. Naji is dedicated to the aggressive defense of workers’ compensation claims on behalf of employers, insurance carriers, and third-party administrators. He prides himself on his responsiveness and efficient handling of claims.

Education

Naji graduated from Vanderbilt University in 2008 with a Bachelor of Arts in Classical Studies and a minor in Corporate Strategy. He earned his Juris Doctor degree at Champan University School of Law in 2012 where he served as a member of the Student Bar Association.

Personal Note

I have always enjoyed being the person people come to for counsel, listening to their concerns, and developing a strategy to address those concerns. To me, being an attorney is not only about working to help your client resolve their legal concerns, but also advising them for all obstacles life may throw at us.

In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my family, friends, and my dogs. I am a big dog lover and on the weekends can often be found taking my dogs on hiking trails and long drives. I am also a self-proclaimed movie buff who will happily spend an afternoon discussing all things film-related.

Mullen & Filippi was founded in 1949 to provide counsel to employers, carriers, and third-party administrators in defense of Workers’ Compensation matters.
