Career Basics

Kristine started with Mullen and Filippi on April 16, 2021, in the San Jose office. She was admitted to the California State Bar in 2016 and began her legal career as an applicant’s attorney in 2017. Her experience encompasses all stages of litigation, from initial discovery to trial. Kristine has attended numerous seminars and conferences on workers’ compensation law and strives to stay abreast of the ever-changing and evolving laws in this field.

Education

Kristine graduated from the University of Northern Colorado in 2010 with a degree in Political Science and a minor in Pre-Law. In 2016, she graduated with honors from California Western School of Law. She also received the Academic Excellence Award for Trusts and Estates and achieved the Dean’s Honor List each year.

Personal Note

I’ve had a passion for debate and persuasion from a young age. My legal career has taught me discipline, which in turn has harnessed my passion into an effective tool for communication, without which no lawyer would be successful.
In my spare time I enjoy hanging out with my husband, Taylor, and pug, Franklyn. I also love a good day at the gym or relaxing with a book.
