Career Basics

Tejal Naik joined Mullen & Filippi’s Oakland office in 2022. Before joining M&F, she began her law practice with a reputable workers’ compensation defense firm, defending workers’ compensation and related claims in San Francisco and in the Peninsula in 2017.

Education

Tejal received her BA in Criminal Justice from San Francisco State University in 2009. She then spent time in the workforce, working in hospitality, before deciding to attend Golden Gate Law School, where she graduated in 2014 with a specialization in Labor/Employment Law. In 2013, Tejal clerked for the Honorable Maria Elena James and the Honorable Nandor J. Vadas at the United States District Court, Northern California.

Personal Note

I was born and raised in Zimbabwe and have a great love for the outdoors and wildlife. When I am not in the office, you can find me on hiking trails or curled up with a good book.
