Ryan McGlothen joined the San Francisco office of Mullen & Filippi in 2025. Prior to joining the firm, Ryan was employed by the San Francisco Unified School District since 2020.

Ryan received his law degree from the University of San Francisco School of Law in 2018. While in law school, Ryan was president of the University of San Francisco chapter of the American Constitution Society. In 2015, he earned his Bachelors of Arts in Political Science from the University of Arkansas.

Personal Note

Since the age of 10, I have said I wanted to practice law, and that feeling still holds true today. The law presents a new challenge every day, and challenges are what give life meaning to overcome.
For over 16 years, I have played bass guitar in hard rock and heavy metal bands from my hometown in Arkansas to San Francisco. It has been a lifelong passion, and being up on stage to share stories is a thrilling experience every time.
