Career Basics

Zachary is an Associate Attorney in Mullen & Filippi’s Orange office. Prior to joining Mullen & Filippi, Zachary built a strong background practicing law in various areas to include personal injury and defense medical malpractice, where he gained experience handling many aspects of litigation to include motion practice, depositions, court appearances, settlement negotiations, and more.

Education

Zachary earned his Juris Doctorate from University of La Verne, College of Law. During his time in law school, he served as Editor-in-Chief for the school’s Law Review where he led the editorial team, reviewed submissions, and oversaw citation accuracy and publications. Before law school, Zachary earned his Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology in 2015.

Zachary is an active member of the California and Arizona State Bar Associations. He also holds memberships with the Court for the Central District of California, Consumer Attorneys of California, and the Consumer Attorneys Association of Los Angeles.

Personal Note

In my spare time, I enjoy reading, cooking, watching movies, doing escape rooms, and going on walks and hikes with my wife, Deztini, and our dachshund, Han Solo. As a family, we enjoy all kinds of games. Our favorite is Skip-Bo, and we even keep a running total of wins and losses—unfortunately for me, my wife currently holds the winning record! I’m also a sports fan: I root for the Dodgers in baseball, the Rams (by marriage), the Eagles in football, and the Kraken in hockey. I also enjoy biking, yoga, running, and rock climbing.
