Career Basics
Armando Marquez is an Associate Attorney in Mullen & Filippi’s Orange office. He brings a practical, business-minded approach to workers’ compensation defense. Before joining the Mullen & Filippi team, Armando founded and managed his own bankruptcy law practice, handling both the legal and operational sides of the business. He advised clients on Chapter 7 and Chapter 13 matters, conducted detailed financial analyses, and developed strategies for debt relief and long-term financial stability. From client intake, to compliance, and marketing, he learned how to solve problems efficiently and keep cases moving. Today, Armando represents employers, insurance carriers, and third-party administrators in workers’ compensation matters. He is known for driving toward early, cost-effective resolution whenever possible.
Education
Armando received his undergraduate degree in Criminal Justice from California State University, San Bernardino. He thereafter earned his Juris Doctor from the University of La Verne College of Law, where he was awarded a CALI Excellence for the Future Award in Bankruptcy Law.
