Career Basics

Michael Ferguson is a veteran workers’ compensation attorney that practices out of Mullen & Filippi’s Sacramento office location. He has practiced for 20-plus years and has personally appeared at almost all of the California WCAB jurisdictions. His history in workers’ compensation defense includes many “take nothing” victories, lien eradications or reductions, and significant contribution recoveries.

Education

Michael received his Juris Doctor from Lincoln Law School of Sacramento, a Master’s Degree from University of the Pacific, and his Bachelor’s degree from Westmont College. He has provided a substantial amount of industry trainings to claims professionals, and has been a keynote speaker for the California Self Insurance Association Conference. Prior to becoming an attorney, Michael served in the United States Army.
