Career Basics

Mike Williford has been involved in the California workers’ compensation system since 2009. He spent his first eight years as a hearing representative for a busy applicant’s attorney firm, helping injured workers obtain benefits through the workers’ compensation system. Since 2017, he has worked as a hearing representative directly for employers in defense of workers’ compensation claims. In 2023, Mike joined the Mullen & Filippi team, primarily assisting attorneys with cases in the Stockton and Sacramento areas.

Education

Mike is a certified paralegal; he obtained his certification from Abrams College in Modesto in 2009.

Personal Note

As a hearing representative in workers’ compensation, I have had ample opportunity to utilize my creative thinking and problem-solving skills to improve the efficacy of office procedures, as well as attain desired outcomes in cases.
One of my greatest passions is songwriting. I have played hundreds of shows in Modesto and surrounding areas, won a Modesto Area Music Association Award, and released two albums.
