Career Basics

Leticia Guzman began her career at the California Fifth District Court of Appeal in 2020. She joined Mullen & Filippi’s Fresno office in 2023. Prior to law school she worked as a paralegal at an insurance defense firm, and while in school she worked at the Fresno City Attorney’s Office as a certified law clerk.

Education

Leticia received her law degree from San Joaquin College of Law in 2020, where she graduated valedictorian of her class with high honors. During law school, she was the recipient of several Witkin Awards for Academic Excellence, represented the law school in the Roger J. Traynor Moot Court Competition, and held a judicial externship at the California Fifth District Court of Appeal. Prior to law school, Leticia attended the Art Institute of California, San Francisco, where she obtained her Bachelor of Science in advertising.

Leticia is a member of the State Bar of California, the Fresno County Bar Association, and La Raza Lawyers Association. She is also as a board member of the San Joaquin College of Law Alumni Association.
