Career Basics

Ashley Rose Mohammadi joined the Mullen & Filippi Fresno office on June 19, 2018. Ashley began practicing law in the area of workers’ compensation defense in January 2015. Her sole focus since becoming an attorney has been representing employers, third-party administrators and insurance carriers with respect to workers’ compensation claims and related matters.

Education

Ashley was raised in Coalinga, California and attended California State University, Fresno for her undergraduate and graduate studies. While at Fresno State, she earned bachelor degrees in Chemistry and Africana & American Indian Studies. She also earned a Masters of Science degree in Forensic Science, focusing on DNA analysis. She helped create a University project that looked into the possibility of solving “cold” criminal cases with the use of DNA analysis. Ashley interned at the Fresno County Sheriff’s Office while working on her graduate studies. She was also chosen to present at the Graduate Research and Creative Activities Symposium and the Dean of Science and Mathematics Research Event in 2010.

Professional Membership

Ashley attended San Joaquin College of Law beginning in August 2011. She was a law clerk for the Fresno County District Attorney’s office for nearly two years before moving to a private law firm that specialized in corporate law and estate planning.

Personal Note

Shortly after passing the California State Bar I was given the opportunity to practice workers’ compensation defense. My family has been self-employed in the restaurant business for my entire life and this has given me a sense of passion in vigorously representing employers and their respective rights.
In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my family, friends, and recently adopted dog, Moses. I am a proud “Auntie” to two nephews and two nieces and I never miss a chance to see them.
