Career Basics

Isaac has been a trusted legal counsel for almost a quarter of a century. He began his legal career as a District Attorney in Merced County where he gained invaluable litigation experience successfully completing multiple court and jury trials. Due to his successful trial career, he was quickly promoted to one of three attorneys in the General Felony Department where he obtained jury convictions in complex felony charges including attempted murder and sales of narcotics with gang enhancement. As a Deputy City Attorney for the City of Merced, he analyzed complex legal issues and provided legal advice to multiple city departments and commissions.

Education

Isaac received his bachelor’s degree from the University of California at Davis in 2000 completing degrees in economics and religious studies. He received his law degree from Santa Clara University School of Law in 2003. He was a scholarship recipient all three yeas and a Summer Fellow at the Katharine & George Alexander Community Law Center where he provided legal aid in areas of immigration and consumer law.

Professional Membership

Isaac is a member of the State Bar of California in good standing. He is a member of the Sacramento County Bar Association. Isaac is also a Board Member of the Association of Workers’ Compensation Professionals (AWCP) and currently performs as their Education Committee Co-Chair and acts as the WorkCompCentral Liaison.

Personal Note

Isaac enjoys practicing law because he thrives on tackling complex legal issues and challenging fact patterns to help his clients succeed. He takes pride in developing and implementing a strategic litigation plan and seeing each case through to resolution.
When he is not advocating for his clients, Isaac dedicates his time to his wife and three children.
