Career Basics

Austen Gabbard has been involved in the California workers’ compensation system since 2022. Since beginning legal practice in 2022, he has spent all of those years as a defense attorney. Austen was hired at Mullen & Filippi’s Van Nuys location in 2024 and has been a dedicated team member ever since.

Education

Austen graduated from the University of San Francisco School of Law, in 2021. Before graduating, he had internships in both the Sacramento District Attorney’s Office and the San Francisco District Attorney’s Office. He attended college at California State University, Chico where he obtained a Bachelor of Arts in criminal justice.
