Career Basics

Kendra Garcia has been a defense attorney since 2014. Prior to joining the San Francisco office of Mullen & Filippi, Kendra represented insured and self-insured employers and carriers with complex workers’ compensation claims and insurance contribution in the San Francisco Bay Area.

Education

Kendra received her Bachelor of Science degree in Combined Sciences in 2009 from Santa Clara University, Santa Clara, California. In 2013, she received her Juris Doctor from Whittier Law School, where she graduated magna cum laude, and was admitted to the State Bar of California in 2013.

Personal Note

I enjoy cultivating relationships with my clients and the daily challenges involved with representing insurance carriers and employers in workers’ compensation. The ever-changing laws and dynamics of workers’ compensation is what drew me to pursue a career in this field.
In my spare time, I enjoy cycling, boxing, and spending time outdoors with my puppy.
